By accessing and using Parlr AI, you agree to be bound by these terms of service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our service.

Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using our platform, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these terms of service and our privacy policy. These terms apply to all users of the platform, including visitors, free account users, and Premium subscribers.

Use of Service

Parlr AI is an educational platform intended for TEF and TCF Canada exam preparation. You agree to use the service only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these terms. It is strictly prohibited to:

  • Use the service for fraudulent, malicious, or illegal purposes
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to restricted parts of the service or other users' accounts
  • Reproduce, copy, sell, or commercially exploit any content from the platform without written authorization
  • Use robots, automated scripts, or other means to access the service abusively
  • Disrupt or compromise the security, integrity, or availability of the service

Intellectual Property

All content on the Parlr AI platform, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, icons, images, audio clips, digital downloads, and data compilations, is the property of Parlr AI or its content providers and is protected by Canadian and international copyright laws. You do not acquire any ownership rights to the content by using the service.

User Accounts

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and password. You agree not to share your login credentials with third parties. You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account. Parlr AI reserves the right to suspend or terminate your account in case of violation of these terms.

Limitation of Liability

Parlr AI provides the service "as is" and "as available." We do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Parlr AI, its officers, employees, and partners will not be liable to you or any third party for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages resulting from your use or inability to use the service.

Parlr AI is a preparation tool and does not guarantee that you will pass the TEF or TCF Canada exams. Exam results depend on many factors beyond our control, including your French level, personal preparation, and official exam conditions.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Parlr AI, its officers, employees, agents, and partners from any claim, loss, liability, damage, cost, or expense (including reasonable attorney fees) resulting from your use of the service, your violation of these terms, or your violation of any third-party rights.

Termination

You may terminate your account at any time by contacting our support. Parlr AI reserves the right to suspend or terminate your access to the service, with or without notice, for any reason, including violation of these terms. Upon termination, your right to use the service will cease immediately, but provisions that by their nature must survive will continue to apply.

Refund Policy

Premium subscriptions are billed monthly or annually according to the chosen plan. Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis and may be granted within 14 days of the initial purchase if the service has not been used significantly. Partial refunds may be granted for annual subscriptions terminated before the end of the period. For any refund request, contact us at billing@parlr.ca.

Changes to Terms

Parlr AI reserves the right to modify these terms of service at any time. We will notify you of significant changes by email or through a notification on the platform. Your continued use of the service after the posting of changes constitutes your acceptance of the new terms. If you do not accept the changes, you must stop using the service.

Governing Law

These terms of service are governed and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the Province of Quebec, Canada, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any dispute arising from or related to these terms will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Quebec, Canada.
